Most trips are centered around the outdoors rather than radio. However, radio gear is present on most of the outings. ==== How much do the trips cost? ==== Most crew 73 trips are very affordable, being under $20. Most of this money goes towards gas, and the rest towards food. The crew does not make any profit off of the trips. However, there are a few trips, like Winterfest, that are more expensive. ==== Does the crew have any gear that I can use? ==== As of now, the crew doesn't have any official gear. However, most crew members have a little extra to share, so there shouldn't be any problems. ==== What kind of gear do I need? ==== Most of what you need is basic camping gear. A backpacking style tent is recommended, as it takes up less space and is perfect for all kinds of activities. A pair of shoes that you can walk in the woods in is a must, and clothes for different types of weather are useful as well. Past that, any other gear depends on what type of activity you will be going on. ==== Why are all of the names so odd? ==== It was decided at the crew planing meeting that all of the event names would be in 'engrish.' This is much more interesting than names like "Panther creek trip" and "Webelos woods." ===== Meetings ===== ==== What is the uniform that I need? ==== The crew "Class A" is the official crew T shirt. We wear it at: * Crew meetings * District and Council events * When traveling The crew "Class B" uniform is just whatever clothes you want to wear. We dress like this on: * Crew campouts * Other trips * At home * At school ==== Do I have to be at all of the meetings? ==== No, but it would be nice. It is really difficult to plan trips and activities when half of the crew is gone. ==== How long is the meeting? ==== We usually meet for about two hours. That gives us enough time to conduct buissness, hang out, and have a good time.
